Starts by talking to a Sport-Counsellor who is trained to unravel the logic behind your thoughts, feelings, and reactions;
someone who understands exactly how you are feeling and why; someone who can help you identify and change those Automatic-Negative-Thoughts
that jump into your mind before you have chance to challenge them; someone who in the long-term, can help you to help yourself.
You will learn from the process that you do have options.
Sports Coaching and Counselling:
This is always carried out at my practice address in Monton,
Eccles, Manchester, this ensures a confidential, safe, comfortable environment. Sessions can be
arranged for the daytime, evening and weekends.
Hypnotherapy is a 2 step process;
the first step is a fact-finding consultation, (60 minutes) to gather information about your lifestyle and the problems you
are experiencing. The 2nd appointment (60 minutes) will be the actual Hypno-Therapy. In-between
these two appointments, a personalised, bespoke script will be written for use during the Hypno-Therapy session,
this personalised script makes the hypnotic process far more powerful and long-lasting than the one off, instant, generic format that many Hypnotherapists use.
A week or so later (or whenever is practical) if needed,
a 3rd session is offered which will be an evaluation of your progress and another run-through of Hypnotherapy process. There
will be small additional fee for this 3rd session.
So a total 3 x 1 hour sessions,
and the writing of a bespoke Hypnotherapy script.

The Nervous Rider Action Plan combines
a collection of Self-help homework exercises, a relaxation technique that can be performed at times of stress, A Hypnotherapy
Session to boost confidence riding and handling horses, and lots of useful information about stress, anxiety
that will help you understand why your body reacts as it does when you become fearful riding or handling horses.
The printable worksheets are on a separate CD. These
written exercises are designed to help you challenge how you think, how you perceive your problems, how you deal with them,
and what changes need to be made to reach your goals.
They will also help
you to focus on what your goals actually are, and whether or not they are achievable, and if not, what compromises do you
have to make to satisfy your desires and wants. The foundation stone for this kind of work is called Cognitive Behaviour Therapy,
which promotes healthy thinking styles, which in turn promotes healthy, positive motions, and productive behaviours and reactions;
every negative emotion has a thought behind it, change your thoughts and you change your mood!
Nervous Rider Action Plan will help you become a more motivated, positive, confident rider with a relaxed, calm outlook, so
that you and your horse can both fulfil your potential.
